The Opinion

Past & Present Issues

The first issue of The Opinion debuted on November 29, 1949 under the leadership of its first editor, Michael Beilewech, Jr. (1951). The Opinion has historically served as a forum for law student viewpoints with an editorial staff comprised of SUNY Buffalo Law School students. In 2009 the paper went on a brief hiatus due to a lack of student editors, but now, in 2015, The Opinion has been resurrected and will once again serve as the voice of the SUNY Buffalo Law School Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni.
